this place was great!!! Quigley's is on my return list

I have been here a couple times as my father in law has a great love of their micro-brews. Their food is better than most pub food. The fried pickles were amazing (I think I have found my new favorite food)! Their burgers are great and their fried chicken is wonderful. We also sat outside and got to listen to live music which was a nice perk.

I ordered the mingo salad. Spinach, red onion, pecans, roasted pears and gorgonzola with basalmic dressing on the side. The dressing was harsh. If I hadn't put dressing on it, it may have been an o.k. Salad??

Food was great. Tasted very good and was inexpensive. We were in the mood for a quick bit and Quigley's worked perfectly. The waitress was extremely friendly and provided great service.

Beautiful restaurant. Very clean. Wish we'd gone on a warmer afternoon so we could enjoy the outdoor seating out by the pond. Diverse selection of microbrews. Tried the Shakedown Wheat. Distinctive and flavorful brew. Their homemade Pinto Bean hummus may very well be the best I've had at a restaurant. Also enjoyed the Blackened Mahi Fish Tacos. Definitely a restaurant to which we will return when/if we vacation in Myrtle Beach again in the future.

I had the pint of Swamp Fox IPA which was just fine. Our plates were pan seared scallops and shepherds pie - both excellent. The menu overall has an excellent variety of entrees, especially good if you're tired of the fried seafood scene. Highly recommended!

My wife and I were looking for some comfort food today around 3pm and decided Quigleys was the best place. Quigleys is a very popular neighborhood spot. Quigleys always has a variety of treats on the menu plus some very interesting specials. Today we both had the meatloaf, her's was an entree with the meatloaf served on mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans on the side. I had the open faced meatloaf sandwich, an old standby for me when I am really hungry. My dish included fries with a side of gravy. The mushroom brown gravy is perfect with the meatloaf. Quigleys puts a crust on the meatloaf by grilling it, yum. Service was friendly and timely, Josh's brewed beer is always special. You won't be disappointed visiting Quigleys, either for a pint or cocktail, or for a meal.

We liked this spot so much that we went twice on our week long trip to South Carolina! We even brought back some beer! Excellent food, wonderfully warm service! The Fried Green Tomatoes were especially good! I also highly enjoyed the stout beer with a plate of their special Shepard's Pie. The lamb was full of taste and flavor. I really loved my experience there.. When the wife and I return to South Carolina, Quigley's will be the first place we stop for a meal!

Definitely the best place we ate at during our recent trip to Litchfield Beach. Headed here on a Friday night and the place surprisingly wasn't all that crowded. Our waiter had that surfer stoner mentality but was efficient and gave us good service. We ordered the black-eyed pea hummus and fried green tomatoes as appetizers and both were good. Can't admit I have seen black-eyed pea hummus before and this is a great option for you vegetarian types. The shrimp on top of the fried green tomatoes were very good although bordering on a bit too spicy. The fried green tomatoes were piping hot and I think i enjoyed them more than my dining mates. Everyone seems to have different opinions in the South about what the best fried green tomatoes are. Everything on their menu looked appetizing but I settled on the Pan Seared Scallops and I am glad I did. The scallops were cooked perfectly and sat atop cheddar grit cakes. The grit cakes were heavy but were delicious. Well worth that lead belly feeling. They give you three but I only ate one and had the rest for breakfast the next day. You could easily split this meal between two people. They get props for being inventive with their creamy crawfish succotash sauce too. Everything about this dish just worked well together. The sig-o got the chicken and waffles and I am sure he will get around to writing his Yelp soon. This place is also conveniently located near the Litchfield Beach and Gold Resort so anyone staying there wanting a nice evening meal should check this place out. The casual atmosphere is also good for kids. Doubt I will ever be back in this part of the world but if I do this place would be worth a repeat visit.

Stopped in for dinner with the family while staying at Litchfield. The restaurant is new and nicely decorated. I had their red beer and the wife had their lightest beer (don't remember the name of it). We order the fries and gravy & the fried pickles for apps. Both were really good and they give you a lot of each. Apps are more the size for 4 people. For entrees my wife had the crab cakes, I had the shrimp and grits, my sons had the steak w/red eye gravy & gorgonzola and the cheeseburger. All the food was great with decent portions. This place is split into 2 areas; one being the louder bar area and the other a quieter "family area". The service was great and we will definitely return on our next trip down.

Nice place...it's in the cluster of shops and restaurants back behind the Piggly Wiggly down the road a bit. My husband and I stopped in on the recommendation of my aunt and uncle who we were in town visiting. They do have 6 of their own brews. I stuck with the Peach Wheat, assumedly a summer variety, which had a nice peach aroma and was smooth going down. My husband enjoyed the Nut Brown ale. Stop in from 4 to 7 pm any day and you will get some sweet happy hour specials. Pints are $2 and appetizers are priced cheap. We had some fried pickles with ranch...always tasty with beer. Though we didn't try anything off the dinner menu, it looked like there was a lot of variety and some thought went into it. I highly recommend the place!

  • Amber S.

I have nothing bad to say about this place: Great beer (Nut Brown Ale is a fave of mine), tasty food, decent service. You can't go wrong with the pub burger or fish tacos. They serve this AMAZING (and I do mean AMAZING) butter/spread with their bread; honestly next to the booze it is the main reason I love to eat here. (The maple butter is my fave!) Plus they have fun specials like "Free Growler Wednesday;" you buy the beer and get to keep the Growler and have it refilled for $5! WIN IMO!

Great menu, decent beer, wine, and cocktail selections, and veggie friendly options near the coast. Love it! It was the perfect atmosphere and the perfect price. Definitely recommended, and will go again next time we are in the area!

Great place. In town for a wedding and found this behind the Piggly Wiggly shopping center. Almost brand new building and very clean/modern. Fresh beer and good food. I don't drink a full beer, so enjoyed the fact they have $1 and $2 sample sizes of homemade brew. All food prices were reasonable. Over 3 visits in 3 days I had the huge patty melt ($9), the hot wings appetizer and the Plowman's Platter appetizer (huge portion of cheese, meats, fruit and pretzel). Wife had the Blackened fish tacos. All food items were quality. Service was fast and friendly. Would definately recommend this place and will return.

This place is fantastic. The fried green tomatoes appetizer is awesome along with the shrimp and grits. Beer is great too. We went here three straight nights on vacation.

Great happy hour with amazing prices on drinks and apps. Unfortunately this place still allows smoking and it can nearly suffocate you at times in the bar/tv area. Beautiful building with a great outdoor porch overlooking a pond. The food is good Irish pub food but dinner can be a bit pricey. Lots of local there at happy hour with a wide selection. I'd give it a much higher review if it weren't for the smoke- but the porch solves that problem!

I was debating four or five stars. Not sure it is quite five stars but at least 4.5. To start we had about a 45 minute wait on a Tuesday night. They have awesome comfortable outdoor furniture on the water for us as we waited. I went to order beers and they seem to have weekday specials from 4-7p of $2 for 16oz tap beer. This was high end micro brew that I usually pay about $5 for. Needless to say each time my two beers cost $4.48 I was amazed and tipped accordingly. My last beer was at my table after 7pm and I think it cost in the $4-5 range. Anyway the place was packed and the food was awesome. My daughter is a vegetarian and we chose Quigley's because it also had some nice vegetarian choices. I had the Chicken and Waffles and it was absolutely fantastic. We all loved it and it was only $89.19 for our party of 5. Well plus $18 for the happy hour cocktails. I have been paying considerably more for food this trip.

We have been to Quigley's many times for lunch and dinner because everything is always delicious. There is a wide variety of great food ranging from salads, to sandwiches, to tuna topped with crab meat (comes with wasabi mashed potatoes and garlic spinach, my favorite). On Tuesday nights there are high value specials and team trivia. The staff is friendly and the owners are on site and very interested in your dining experience. They are very willing to let you make substitutions so that you get just what you want. There are many good restaurants in Pawleys Island but this is our favorite. Our guests from out of town always want to return here.

I enjoyed my meal - the fired chicken was very good (I did have them change out the gravy to the white gravy it was awesome). The succotash was good too - the red peppers gave it a good taste. If I was up in this area again I would come back for the beer specials alone.

Not sure why I haven't written about Quigleys sooner...my wife and I have visited Quigleys at least four times over the past few years. During my previous visits I have tried the chicken and waffles, meatloaf, chicken wings, and most recently the steak sandwich. All were very tasty. The French fry appetizer with various dipping sauces is also a hit. In the midst of the food is the beer...the beer is excellent. We have gone at different times when they are offering specials in the bar area. Service has always been friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is also great. We have sat in every part of the restaurant including the outside patio. My wife and I will continue to come to this little hidden gem. Never had a bad experience and always enjoy our visits. Keep up the good work!

Good food and an interesting menu. Had the grouper ceaser special and it was cooked to perfection . A few interesting choices for beer, but I wouldn't call it a destination for craft beer. Our waitress was very nice. Recommended another place to try in the evening. Would definitely go back!

Operating solely by the Yelp app and GPS, this was a bit tricky to find, especially in the dark, but we had spent a very warm time at Brookgreen Gardens and needed somewhere open late that had a wide range of options. We turned in at two wrong parking lot entrances and circled around before we finally found the right one. When we got in and took our seats outside on the patio, we discovered why the layout was so quirky. The patio looks out over a lovely pond surrounded by other buildings. It's not the ocean, but it was beautiful and romantic. There was a TV out there playing a Cubs game -- almost as good as roses and candlelight. And I don't *think* any of the many mosquito bites I got that day happened there. I was still full from lunch, but sweetie was starving, so we ordered two appetizers and an entree to share. We had the hummus and pita bread, which I'm sad to say was mostly disappointing. It might just be a matter of taste, but while we both loved the *idea* of the black-eyed peas over the top, they just didn't have as strong a flavor as we've come to look forward to from an excellent restaurant hummus. The pita was soft and warm, but it did not make up for the bland hummus. The pretzels were pretty close to incredible, though. They were hot and soft and flaky, and the mustard had just the right amount of tang. They ended up being the dish we touched the least, though, because we knew they'd keep the best overnight and be easiest to eat in the car the next day. The second-day pretzels kept all their flavor but were predictably less soft and flaky. I'd have liked more salt personally, but I am a saltoholic. My epitaph will read, "Please sprinkle with salt." Finally, we shared the fish tacos (an order of three), without cheese on one of them. Those were the least memorable of the three dishes, being not so exciting as the pretzels and not disappointing like the hummus. We both enjoyed them without remark. The service was friendly, fast, helpful. Practically the whole bar said goodbye to us when we left, which wasn't nearly as creepy as it might sound. But overall it was a restaurant that I'd put in the "I've got no complaints" category rather than the "it was a highlight of my vacation" one.

Loved the local beer, happy hour deals, the live music and the home made pimento cheese dip. Do I need to say more? I do? Ok....the staff is really friendly and it doesn't take them long to recognize the regulars. The outside seating is cool if it's not too hot...

I've been a fan of Quigley's since they opened back in 2007. I was living in Myrtle and one of my co-workers husband was the original GM. She introduced us to their hummus that she brought into work and I was instantly hooked. When I lived up that way, I went anytime I ventured south. I live in Charleston now and was recently visiting friends in Pawleys. Four of us stopped in for lunch and I was event more impressed than I've been in the past. I typically enjoy sitting outside, but it was a little chilly so we did a table for four inside. After they seated tables on either side of us it was a little tight, but nothing major. For old times sake, I immediately ordered the hummus and it's still fantastic. They bring out biscuits to start with and whatever the specialty butter is. Ours was sweet potato and it was delicious on those little biscuits. Amongst out table, we ordered the Fried Chicken, Fried Shrimp, Chicken and Waffles, and I had the Sheppard's Pie. For the price, the portions were enormous. Every plate at the table was piled with food. We all had so much in front of us that sharing wasn't necessary so I didn't try any of the other dishes. I can say that the Sheppard's Pie was excellent and loaded with lamb meat. Some was shredded underneath the potatoes, but there were also large chunks tossed in there. It came with a dish of green beans cooked perfectly... still firm without being raw. This easily turned into two full meals as there was no way I was finishing this plate in one sitting. Our waitress Jennie was so sweet and attentive. She made a mistake on one of my friends orders which wasn't a big deal, but the dish needed to be remade. Not only did Jennie get the new one made quickly, she offered to bring my friend some soup while she waited, got her new meal out quickly, and then ended up taking the meal off the bill without anyone even asking for that. It seemed like she was having a pretty stressful shift, but was still happy to be serving us and she really did an amazing job. Food aside, with service like that, I would be back just for Jennie being so pleasant.

Super nice staff. Bright and cheery interior. Really good food. Really good beer. I had a Nut Brown Ale and it was scrumptious- sort of like a mild coffeeish Porter. My lunch was a $10 order of Fish tacos - flour tortillas stuffed with cod, jack cheese, cabbage and tomatoes served with two salsas. I went with sauteed spinach as my side and it was really really good! There is nothung I didn;t like about Quigleys- they get solid grades on every count.

Nice tavern. Large cocktail/drink menu -- decent house-brewed beers. Fried green tomatoes + goat cheese + Thai chili sauce + shrimp were delicious. The chicken and waffles were a hit and they're seared tuna and salmon were fresh too. Quick service too.

This a great place to go to in North Litchfield! Aside from Frank's and Chive Blossom there aren't too many good restaurants in the area that aren't pricey. Quigley's has a good selection of local brews as well as a good cocktail menu, so they definitely live up to the "pint" in their name. I'm torn on the food, as the rest of my family had great meals, but I wasn't very impressed with mine. We had an antipasto dish, hummus dip, and some sausage which was good! Their steak was good, and their chicken and waffles was excellent, but I would not get their shrimp and grits again. I'm someone who doesn't like their grits LOADED with cheese, butter, and oil, and my plate was basically floating in it. It was almost more of a soup. The shrimp and andouille sausage was good, but the rest of it was so heavy I couldn't finish it (which means a lot because I usually clean house). I won't my meal against the place, since they had other great options on the menu, but I am disappointed they took the easy way out doing the grits. The interior is nice and cozy, fitting the concept of a brewhouse mixed with a dining room. They have great outdoor seating next to some water. Overall, we will definitely be going to this place again the next time we're in the North Litchfield area.

Like Julia, we were staying (roughly) across the way at the Litchfield Resort. Since we had decided to take a quickie trip, and hadn't wanted to cook - though we had a kitchen in the room - we went out for dinner. and the first place we came to was Quigley's. Unfortunately, the wait was over an hour. To their credit, there were eight of us, but an hour seemed a bit extreme. So while we waited, I walked around the corner, to some other place, and there was no wait at all - at least for a minute, and while everyone decided if they wanted to change venues, that hole closed up. So back to Quigley's we went. As it turned out, it was only about half an hour, so it really wasn't that bad. One tip, however: Make reservations. Yes, this little hole-in-the-wall takes reservations. I don't know if you have to have them way in advance, or if they are the "call ahead" variety, but there were plenty of people coming in who had them, which is what pushed us back so much. In fact, one party had seats for 25. In actuality, I think about 18 showed - which was perfect, because we took the rest. We ended up sitting on the porch, because we didn't want to wait another half hour (plus), and though it was raining and chilly, there are heaters - which come and go - and it is covered. Not a bad choice. Not a great choice, either, but not a bad one. The service isn't good. It's not bad, but it isn't good. Once we finally did get our food, it was bland. I mean blue-plate special in Florida bland. The blazing burger special (or something like that), which was served with jalapeno bacon and ghost pepper cheese, barely registered a blip on the sense-o-meter. Which I just made up, so anyone who creates an App with that name and sells it to Facebook for a billion dollars, don't forget where you heard it. Again, it wasn't bad. It just wasn't good. For a first night when you don't have other choices and don't feel like driving far from Litchfield, not bad. Otherwise, you may want to take your chances elsewhere.

Good to very good food, very good beer, very good selection on their kids' menu (although it's priced per item). It's not going to blow your mind, but it's reliably good with a fun atmosphere and good beer and cocktails.

The food was great! Menu looked like it had quite a selection to choose from would definitely come back but, the service was very slow! I asked for the check right away because had to be somewhere and the server was no where to be found. Also found no managers around to grab there attention. They need to get there priorities straight with customer service!

Quigley's food was surprisingly good, and their serving sizes are ridiculously large. We all brought home enough for lunch the following day. The beer is solid, if not particularly adventurous. Went for the IPA which was less bitter than many pale ales I've tried lately. Don't expect fine dining or edgy brews. The real differentiator about Quigley's is the value- much better value than expected.

Fried Green Tomatoes would have me come back just for that..and it's only the appetizer. I chose the shrimp & grits which was a great choice (of course). The grits were creamy, sausage was tasty, & the shrimp were perfect. I couldn't eat it all but made sure I ate the important parts before handing it to Jasmine our server. I wish I had some more time to explore the rest of the menu like the diver scallops over grit cakes as well a getting the fried green tomatoes again. Happened to see the owner chilling outside on the patio (where we ate) talking to guests. He was nice as I thanked him for a wonderful experience. Great place he has here for us to enjoy a wonderful dinner.

Beer and food were great! All fairly priced. Food was very good quality and a good selection. Beers were well done craft beers. These beers should be on the menu with descriptions of what we can expect them to taste like. Instead, the waitress compared each of them to common bottled beers - not the way to market craft beers. But overall a great experience!

Every time we've gone the food and service has been good. The only reason for 4 stars v 5 is purely the fact that 10 out of the last 12 they have not had red on draft. Perhaps it's bad timing and they keep apologizing. Great place in Pawleys and a must go.

This is a good place to go for dinner and or a beer. I had a couple of beers. I had the Irish Stout and the Nut Brown beers. They were both full bodied and very tasty. I had the special, which was steamed mussels. I was in the seafood capital of South Carolina, so I had to get some seafood. They definitely did not disappoint. We sat outside, and this place had a lovely view. I enjoyed the meal, the beer, and the view.

Food was great. Peach wheat beer was awesome! Only complaint is that happy hour was for bar area only and not entire restaurant. We didn't know this when we sat down. Went to bar to get beer and there was one bartender for entire bar and we weren't acknowledged at all. prices were still very reasonable.

We love Quigley's!! It is our go to place to know we will get consistently delicious food!! We always go more than once whenever we visit. They have delicious fried green tomatoes that are some of our favorites! They have a great happy hour menu from 4-7 with appetizer & drink specials. As far as drinks, my husband's favorite is the Moscow Mule. As far as food, we have never been disappointed with anything that we have ever ordered there.

We were greeted with a friendly smile upon arrival and seated right away. The fried green tomatoes lived up to their legend and as our daughter said, were "delish". I had the blackened mahi tacos... Super good. You cannot beat also they have a full bar. All in all great place for this traveling consumer of delicious foods.

Love it, especially peach beer! Tasty food. Kiddos love the pretzels, and do so do I! We go regularly.

I ordered the Mingo salad and it was hugh---later I found that you can get half a salad. I then got the fish tacos and they were ok--a little dry on the fish, but some tasty condiments. My wife got the Shepard's Pie and said it was terrific. in a party of eight no one complained about anything. JB served us well.

Great atmosphere, good beer and food. Great kids menu. The crab cake appetizer and fried pickles were good. Way too much lettuce on the nachos. The salmon with crawfish was a bit spicy. The garlic mash potatoes were regular mash potatoes. IPA and chocolate stout were good and the staff was friendly.

This place was worth the wait. Had a crab cake appetizer and it was delish!! Spicy curry aoli and lots of crab lumps. Fish tacos were ok, fish slightly overcooked and dry. Scallops and bacon grit cakes were amazing! Kids had fish sticks which were poor. Nice peach wheat beer on tap. The waiter was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. Friendly. I would definitely return here!

Warning, do not plan a special occasion or a "nice dinner" night out at Quigley's. Probably fine for a few drinks or a casual place to hang out, but if you want a special evening, avoid. Last night was one of the most disappointing dinning experiences of my life. My wife and I lived in Pawleys Island a few years back and had a couple good experiences at Quigley's, but last night's dinner to celebrate our 7th anniversary was horrible. My wife and I have a condo for the week in Murrells Inlet, but rented a hotel in Pawleys for one night to get some quality alone time for our anniversary away from our two kids under 3 years. We arrived at 7:30pm and were sat on the back porch by 7:50. The place was busy, so my wife and I quickly placed our apps and entree order. I was looking forward to the scallops and my wife was excited about a nice surf and turf. Around 8:30pm, our appetizer came out, we were already starving, so it went fast. 9pm rolled around and we started getting the "your foods on its way out", from our waitress. 9:10, 9:15, 9:20, all came and went. Finally at 9:35pm our waitress steps to our table with food, and places a cheese burger down in front of my wife... my wife fell apart and I felt defeated. Our waitress did not seem to understand why we were at such a loss, trying to sell my wife on a cheese burger as though it was what she had ordered? Then a gentleman from the kitchen came out to let us know that the kitchen was backed up, they were busy, and that our waitress was having a rough night... With my wife now in tears, we closed up our check, cut our losses and grabbed a sandwich at Sonic on the way home. A memorable anniversary, but unfortunately, for the wrong reason.

The guy at the state park recommended this place so I decidied to give it a try. Never been in area before. Had the Neck Red Ale. excellent. I am from west coast where there are hundreds of brew pubs. This is one of the best with food and beer Had fried green tomatoes and blue crab dip. Portions are fair and well prepared. Place is packed.

The wife and I were very hungry on our way home. She suggested Quigley's Pint & Plate being we were so close to were it was at. It was a Monday evening and was PACKED. We sat at the bar (half off appetizers at the bar)and ordered hummus for the appetizer, she ordered the chili and I ordered the ruben with fries and gravy. The hummus was very different from the other hummus we have eaten (they used a little of vinegar) AWESOME. They do a great chili spicy, meaty, and flavorful. Finally the Ruben with fries and GRAVY, filling, and flavorful with the fries having a gravy dipping sauce, WOW. Quigley' Pint and Plate came highly recommended for a good reason, it's DELECIOUS.

We like to come to Quigley's when we are vacationing in Surfside Beach. Their beer is good. We like to come during Happy Hour for the value. The atmosphere is nice, being right on the water. They sometimes have entertainment. We will be back again next year.

The food was delish, but the service....not so much. It's amazing what a difference a good or bad server makes. The food all came out at different times, and one dish was wrong and the waiter accused us of the error. Too much competition in the area to ever visit this place again.

We went there for dinner with our two sons, ages 10 & 8. My husband and I are homebrewers and love checking out local brewpubs. We highly recommend visiting here. We got fries & gravies as an appetizer and it was a hit for the whole family. The kids ordered off of the kid's menu and were full by the end of their meals. I had the fish and chips. I would've like to have had more fish but the amount wasn't too bad. No malt vinegar but the gravies left over from the appetizer gave it a nice Southern flair. My husband had the blackened Mahi fish tacos with sweet potato fries and thought they were good. They had a lot more fish on them than he was expecting, which was very good. Happy Hour deals included deals on the appetizers, $2 pints, & $5 Moscow Mules. Overall their beers were good though their brown ale was lacking. However the Moscow Mule with their house brewed ginger beer more than made up for it! While we at inside, there was also a lovely outdoor dining area that overlooks a pretty water feature.

The service is always top notch, which makes the meal even more pleasant. Our family is fans of the fish and chips and the burger --- and the beer, of course. The only negative is the acoustics when the restaurant is bustling --- makes conversation a challenge. Enjoy --- go early!

Totally love this place. We are locals and this is our place to go and have fun. Great food, good service, I really love the culture here. We attend team trivia regularly on Tuesdays. And we have been to karaoke. No lie this is the place where they always know our name, always glad we came. Cheers!! ;)

This was a great off-the-beaten path restaurant for family vacation to Myrtle Beach. A family of beer lovers, we tried and loved them all. We had a combination of apps and entrees and also got a growler of the peach wheat to go. The house made vegan burger was chock full of veggies and I was in love with the pimento cheese. The regular nachos came in a giant portion and two salsas. The happy hour for pints was dirty cheap. Would definitely return on the next family vacation.

A great brewpub, casual food place. Food is excellent, service is pleasant and quick, and on site brewery produces some excellent brews. Nachos and hamburgers are huge and delicious. More traditional meals are generous and always well prepared, and prices are very reasonable. Only downside is it's a little noisy and difficult to hear someone at the other side of your table. Locals "own" the place at the bar because of very good happy hour deals, but don't let that stop you, this is a great place for a comfort food meal at a good price. Enjoy!!

Came in for happy hour, the bartender was knowledgeable and attentive, the teriyaki and hot wings were most excellent, as was the house made blue cheese, and 2$ pints to boot! I will definitely be back!

What a great place for families after a long tiring day at the beach. Great food & great deals. Every night they have specials. Like tonight Tuesday deals for $10.00. We had great good at great prices. Accommodates large groups with a bar & pond. Outside seating also.

One of the better brew pubs in the area. Good burgers, the soft pretzels are delicious. The beer selection is not terrible, the Neck Red is pretty good, the Swamp Fox IPA is good, but average. $5 growler refills on Wednesdays!

Wow! What a find! The lunch was great and the beer even better. Very nice place to bring the whole family! The staff was the best and very pleasant. Best steak sandwich I have had in years, my wife enjoyed her disk and chips. The price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we had. The whole atmosphere of the place is awesome. I will be back!

Sweet little local spot stashed in a shopping area behind a shopping center. Home cooking and craft brews. Great happy hour with $2 pints. Service was spot on, terrific. The kids and I had burgers with tater tots. Burgers were very good -- would give them higher marks if they were hand formed and a bit thicker. My wife had filet Oscar and said it was real deal. Bottom line, this is a must if visiting the area and looking for a stick to the ribs meal and good beer / wine list. Plenty of innovative mixed drinks as well.

We chose to eat at the restaurant upon the recommendation from a friend and after reviewing their online menu. We were quickly seated and served. We no more ordered our food and the waitress was bringing out our order. We had the chicken & waffles and they were great. I would highly recommend the restaurant to my family and friends. We will definitely eat at the restaurant in the future.

Not sure if this is always the case but they had all you can eat shrimp night. Around $16 a person, and man was it good. Their cocktail sauce was great and it was the best shrimp I've ever had. Wow. Waiter was awesome, brought me at least 4 refills of sweet tea. Haven't eaten that much shrimp since. Great place, fun atmosphere. Side note: area by bar can be loud, so if you're not into that you might want the dinning room.

Found the best Restraunt while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. The food was genuine, fresh, and melt in your mouth. I ordered their grouper topped with a lobster bacon tomato bisque sauce and the grit waffles. My husband had their hanger steak. The Waiter was extremely personable an helped us navigate the menu and specials.

My parents live nearby and when I visit and relax at the beach I always make sure to stop by here. -really enjoy location along the bike path, I've ridden my bike there and use the bike rack. Nice to have a place not directly on rt 17, and nestled back a little. -great outdoor seating next to the pond, I usually prefer sitting inside along the bar area though and catch a game on the tv. - fantastic staff, I've been here on weekday nights in the off tourist season and get great attention, always get what I ask for, wait staff thinks ahead and brings extra refills and napkins, condiments etc without having me hunt them down or ask. -very clean, fun place - will have the sports games on near the bar but keep the volume low or off so doesn't get to loud or disruptive -I usually grab a draft beer, great local selections, burger or fish and chips, good portions, well made and filling. -I've been there with friends, just a causal relaxing fun late night drink and snack with my mom, or been there by myself to get out of the house and always great. - can't wait to go back next time I'm in town.

After working on Pawley's Island on business, I've eaten at several places in the area. This one is a stand-out. At first, it feels a little touristy, but after eating there, one quickly realizes the food is excellent and the servers treat their guests like locals. The first visit here, we ate as a large group, and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. The second time, I came in alone around 9:45pm looking for take-out (after a corporate chain up the road denied me service because they were closing soon). The front desk guy greeted me, gave me a menu, and assured me they were serving the full menu until 10pm and then appetizers after that. He did not seem burdened by my late arrival at all. The bartender took my order, and he personally put it together in the bag. Although he had a busy bar, he did not seem to be "put-off" by having to get me the take-out. It was such a relief to get this great service and food after a long day's work. I had a delicious jumbo scallop salad. It was very fresh and flavorful. I would definitely eat here when we return.

This slightly hidden microbrewery and restaurant is a good choice for dinner or a pour when in the Pawley's Island area. Atmosphere - Wood, dark, lodge-ish, spacious, busy. This place is more conducive for dinner with a large group. Food - I ordered the crab cakes (see pic) and they were quite good. This dish along with a pint of their Swamp Fox IPA made up my meal. The cakes were nicely presented. Not too much filler in them and they had a pleasantly mild crab flavor. Although, I would have preferred them without the creme fraiche drizzled on top. The beer was decent but not my first choice, as they were out of their Longboard Lager. Service - Friendly. Overall - I had a nice experience here, which would lead me to come back again. Maybe if I ate my dinner while on their back deck or was here with a group of friends, the experience would have been better than sitting by myself, due to work. FYI - AT&T cellular service is awful in this location.

Came to Pawleys Island with a group of friends and this was the first place we had a meal. By the end of the week, we all agreed we could have eaten at Quigley's every night. The service was stellar, there's tons of outdoor seating, all their beers (except one) are brewed on location and the food was absolutely perfect. We ordered an array of the apps and especially remember the wings w/ Asian Thai wing sauce I believe. Our table ordered from probably all the menu categories and there were no complaints at all. After the meal, we remained on the deck and had a few more beers and never felt rushed to get the check and leave. Great atmosphere, everyone should check this place out.

We always stop at Quigley's when we are down here at Litchfield, usually twice in a week. The food is consistently well made, tasty and plenty of variety. We especially like their fish & chips, their chicken & waffles and their meatloaf. Their beer is good too and goes down smoothly. We like eating on the backyard deck.

If they could hide it better from some of the more annoying tourist types who have forgotten where they came to visit and would be much happier back home; this would be the quintessential locals spot. Sadly, you often have to hear too loud folks from far away exclaim how much better they do things back home while forgetting that we don't live "back home" for good reason - the same reason you're vacationing here and we never go up there for our vacation. It's not inexpensive but for the quality and portions, it's more than fair. It can get very packed at times and particularly if you're seating a large group. When the weather allows, dining on the patio is particularly nice. The cuisine is low-country South Carolina and authentic though upscaled. Really fine seafood dishes. Don't miss the ice cream sandwich for desert and definitely try a house beer or two.

Visited twice during our week long stay and both times Quigley's was great! I had chicken and waffles both visits and my husband had pan seared grouper the first visit and fish and chips the second. We also had tavern fries and wings or appetizers. All dishes were excellent. The beer is also very good, we had Swamp Fox IPA (happy hour 4-7 with $2 pints, yay!) and it's a great full-bodied brew. We will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

  • Beth H.

Solid place to eat. There are so many outstanding restaurants in the area that Quigley's just isn't in the same league. The beers and drinks are good. Appetizers are tasty but really just good bar food. The seared scallops on grit cakes are delicious but skimpy on the scallops and heavy on the grit cakes. The crab cakes hold their own but the vegetable medley with it is bland. The blackened ahi tuna was overcooked but the spinach and mashed potatoes with it were outstanding. It is a very loud place but you expect that. The service isn't the best. Our waitress was friendly but could have been more knowledgeable about the menu. The salads arrived but we had no silverware and the waitress hurried away before we could ask for it. When we did ask she was surprised because silverware wasn't her job. I don't care whose job it is I just want to be able to eat. Overall the food is good, the drinks tasty and the atmosphere relaxed.

While staying over at the Litchfield Beach & Golf resort, we were looking for a place close by that had good ratings and was not too dressy. After seeing the reviews on Yelp, we decided to give Quigley's a try. We were not disappointed. The food was very good quality and the prices were very reasonable. We decided to start with the tuna nachos. This consisted of a nice slice of sushi grade tuna served on a nacho with a little seaweed salad. There was also a very light cucumber cream dressing on it and a tad of sirachi on the side. It sounds a little strange, but it was very tasty! We had a difficult time choosing entrees because so many things sounded good. I ended up going with the blackened mahi tacos and David chose the fish tacos (which were fried). The tacos were served with a green salsa and a red salsa.... both were fabulous. I was going to get a salad to go with it, but after seeing the hand-cut fries on a plate at a table close-by, I changed my mind and ordered the fries. They were quite good! I had the white ale, which was quite similar to Blue Moon and David went with the Nut Brown Ale. We were both pleased with the quality of our beer... which is not always the case at a brew-pub. Our service was good and we enjoyed the expereience. I would definitely go back!

Took a road trip to the area and hit this place on the way back. The only thing keeping me from giving this place a full 5 stars was the soft pretzel appetizer which was horribly dry and lacked any kind of soft pretzel flavor. Beer was great, blackened mahi tacos were amazing!!! We also ordered the steak sandwich which was very good. We watched the plates coming out for the tables around us and everything looked good! Would absolutely recommend this place! Great outdoor seating by the pond!

Service is outstanding. Food is outstanding. Its a brewery so the beer is fresh and very good. The only reason we did not give it 5 stars is because of the smoking. Otherwise its perfect.

Visited with a decent sized crowd for late lunch. Food was good (not great) but definitely not worth the poor service. Food came out at different times (like 10 minutes apart) and our server was rather aloof. Surprising because the place was not that crowded. If you like long long lunches, drinks that are not refilled, and overall unattentive service the this is your spot.

Great place! My wife and mom had the fried green tomatoes - wonderful! You must try. I had the fish tacos - very good. Po Boy sandwich very good. Nice inside atmosphere (kind of like an upscale bar type environment). Waitress and manager seemed very engaged and service was very good. We sat at their outside porch - perfect on a nice day.

Reliable source for good food, beer and fun. On most recent visit, enjoyed a couple pints at the bar while splitting wings and the plowman's platter -- it totally hit the spot. Recommend a reservation during peak hours.

Great beer, great food. Try the specials and the crafted beers. A nice diverse menu with a great flavors, even the appetizers are tasty and delicious. I've never had any items off their menu that I didn't enjoy. Favorites include the fried green tomatoes, the Chicken and Waffles, and every dessert I've tried. Also, their burger special is usually amazing. It can get a bit loud when it's crowded, but that's the only recurring problem I've ever had, so I recommend not going on pub trivia night. On other nights, when they don't have events, it doesn't get that loud. If the weather is good, try the back porch!

Solid three stars Quigley's lost one whole star for allowing smoking at the bar. Seriously! What year is it?! Just because you can (what with SC not keeping up with the world's smoking laws) doesn't mean you should allow smoking in your fink g establishment. The owners really should read their clientele some and take a hint. When j was there one nasty bastard stunk up the whole joint with his smoke. This place should not allow smoking for the same reason they same reason they do t have Bud Lite on draft....cause it's nasty. That said the beer was solidly good. They brew many of their beers on site. Some of their house brews are from New South, who shares brewmasters (which explains the obvious accessibility to capital for a newer brew pub). None of the beers knocked my socks off but all were solidly good. The lager was spot on Budweiser, which is not my bag but I get the need to cater to the masses. Food was good, not great. I ate ribs on the all you can eat ribs night. Not great ribs but all you can eat for $18, for the price I didn't expect much and was not surprised nor disappointed. My wife had a salad and said about the same as my ribs...pretty good but not stellar. The atmosphere was nice. Live Grateful Dead in the background (you might not even notice). Not too loud and a family place (I brought my 4 year old and 6 week old). Good atmosphere. All in all a good place. If you're in the MB area make the trip to get away from the tackiness.

Great Happy Hour prices! $2 for a pint is a great deal, and I love that you can order an 8 oz. glass, as well! Great selection of beers for all tastes. The Elvis Burger was a special the night I went, but it should be a regular on the menu. A burger with peanut butter and bananas....YUM! Fun atmosphere, great bar (although it IS smoking), excellent service, and good food!

Instant heart attack with a side of delicious. I went for dinner with my daughter on Mother's Day after spending the day at Brookgreen Gardens. You have to get there early or wait for a seat as this is still a popular dinner spot. We were seated in the nonsmoking section as we needed the air conditioning after the Gardens. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles with gravy and my very intelligent daughter ordered the Blackened Ahi Tuna. The sautéed spinach was eaten mostly by me however as I love spinach and I had to add something green to the instant heart attack I was consuming on my plate. She wouldn't let me tough her wasabi mashed potatoes though. My waffles were made with sweet potato and were extremely tasty as was the fried chicken. These guys do that dish RIGHT! And the gravy was crazy good with this. Definitely the best chicken and waffles I have had in a while! (note: these are the Belgian waffles - thick and airy - and not the Waffle house type waffles that you can wrap your chicken up and pick up to take a bit out of.) Also you may want to ask for the gravy on the side or run the risk of experiencing chest pains half way through your meal. I also ordered a flight of beer. The flight comes for $1 each taste and their tastes are LARGE! I got the Longboard lager, Peach Wheat, Shakedown Wheat, Neck Red Ale , and the Irish Stout. My favorite was the Peach Wheat. Amazing and refreshing and I would order that again in a heartbeat (if it is still going after the Chicken & Waffles!). Delicious!

We are here for our family vacation. Looked at the reviews of this place and most were good so we decided to give it a try. We wanted to go on Friday but they were so busy and said that they couldn't seat us until 8:30 pm and we were too hungry to wait so we made reservations for Saturday at 7 pm. Upon arrival at 6:50 pm, we were quickly taken to our waiting table. The place was pretty busy and there were people waiting for a table so we were glad we made reservations. Our server arrived quickly and was friendly enough but her affect seemed a bit flat to me (you know how when people smile with their mouths only and not with their entire face?). She engaged us in the expected chit chat and told us about the specials. I ordered the blackened ahi tuna with spinach and mashed potatoes. My hubby ordered the scallop salad. My children ordered the chicken and waffles and the shrimp and grits. When the food came out I was happy to see that everyone got really huge servings -- except for me. The tuna was this small little piece of tuna and was barely seasoned so it was bland. I had to put a lot of salt and pepper on it to get to taste right. There was a small portion of spinach and a small portion of potatoes. Nothing special about either of them. My son's shrimp and grits were off the chain though! (He let me have some). Creamy, generous portions of shrimp and just yummy! My other son had the chicken and waffles and they were also good. My hubby said his salad was good although I didn't taste any of it - it did look delish. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes as our appetizer and they were really good! They had goat cheese and grilled shrimp on top which was different and delish. I thought that the prices were a bit high but then again it is a tourist area and I believe that all restaurants hike up their prices to take advantage. Our bill came to around $113 including drinks. The atmosphere was crowded and moderately loud but not too much. Overall, I give this place a B-. We may or may not come back again.

This was a big disappointment for us, especially since we chose this based on positive yelp reviews. We ordered blackened mahi tacos, blackened ahi with wasabi mashed potatoes and their signature salad with added shrimp. Tacos had bland, flour tortillas straight from a microwave and an assortment of uninspired toppings. The fish was cooked nicely but couldn't salvage the dish. The ahi, ordered rare, was quite over cooked and the potatoes arrived barely warm. This entree was sent back for another try. The ahi was OK and the potatoes were still barely warm. The salad sounded much better than it delivered. The grilled pears seemed as though they'd been cooked ages ago, then left to soak in something sweet. Too many roasted red peppers, proportionately speaking. The balsamic dressing definitely seemed like the bottled variety. We all left in agreement: No more Quigleys for our family. We ended up stoping at Bi-Lo for ice cream sandwiches, the best part of our meal. On a positive note, the back porch area where we ate was comfortable and had a nice view. Our server was efficient, friendly, and handled the returned ahi like a pro.

We have gone to Quigley's for a number of years mainly because it is beside a pond and the kids can go outside and run around while we wait for our dinner. They have never had speedy service, but I could get a drink and the kids were occupied while we waited. However, the last two visits have had horrible results. One time my daughter ordered the kids waffles and got sick from them that night. You never know with kids. They carry around all kinds of germs so I let it slide. On the next (and our LAST) visit I ordered the fish tacos and I got sick that night. No more food poisoning for my family. We will not be returning to Quigley's!

Went here with my girlfriend while at the beach. I'm not usually this far south of Myrtle Beach, but this was one of her favorite places. Food was awesome, chicken and waffles was delicious and the meatloaf was excellent. Beers were good, but would not go their just for that. Still, better offerings than most places I've been to at the beach.

Arrived for dinner with family of two adults & three hungry teenage boys. Very happy to be seated almost immediately on the patio. It was a bit cool, but the outdoor heaters were perfect! The wait for dinner inside was going to be over an hour. Service was excellent. The server recognized that my husband did not like lemon or a straw with his drink and when he brought refills, they always were the way my husband preferred. The server was overbooked, but he handled it very well. I ordered the pear salad and added grilled shrimp. I really enjoyed the shrimp! The salad was fine, I just wasn't in the mood for that mix of flavors. My husband ordered the Reuben sandwich which he felt was ok. Not great, not bad, just food. Our teen agers were in terrible shape with this meal. One ordered the steak sandwich, and the other two ordered the blackened tuna tacos which were well reviewed here on yelp. When three hungry teen boys leave their food on their plates, there is definitely something wrong! It took awhile to get our server back since he was overbooked, and when we told him the problem, he did offer to bring something else, but by this point we were ready to move on and they really wanted to get out of there. They removed the charges from our bill without complaint and offered to bring something "to go" for them. But, they were just really ready to leave. Sitting outside by the water was nice, and if you drink beer (which we don't) it may have been heaven. The restaurant did everything they could to improve our situation, but we will not return when we go back to Pawleys Island this summer.

Food isn't very good but the beer is. Great service and nice outdoor area.

This place is one of my favorites in town for sure. It is always consistent. Craft brewed Ales and Lagers are killer. The #IPA is my tap of choice. Fried Chicken and Sweet Potato Waffles with Country Gravy. I LOVE it! It is the ultimate comfort food. Wings and Burgers are always good. Did I mention the #Beer is awesome? You need to try the Fried Pickles. My wife is a big fan of their salads. Also check the chalk boards for the daily specials they are full of great stuff. Ask for the Scotch and Whisky Menus!

The service was great but the food was not memorable. My grouper was tough, although the scallop onto was succulent. The mashed potatoes are kinda gloppy/ pasty. The shepherds pie had the same mashed potatoes on top and was under-seasoned. The fish and chips were greasy. My 9 year old loved the tavern fries though.

Loved the fried green tomatoes too! Our meals were tasty and the beers were great. We would go back and it's family friendly,

I've been here a total of 3 times and love it. We only get to go when we head to the beach for a get away and my only disappointment is that I didn't find this place sooner. This was a place we decided to try due to other reviews on yelp, and I was not let down. They offer a great menu with variety of seafood, sandwiches, chicken and steak. The prices are fair and everything I have tried has been wonderful. I will have to admit the dessert is what stole the show for me. I have tried something different each time going there and they have all blown me away. This is definitely a place to go anytime lunch or dinner for a great meal.

Delicious! The fried green tomatoes are perfection. Also had the pan seared scallops - they are served over grit cakes over this crawfish succotash and it's amazing. Lots of choices on the kids menu. The service is impeccable. After trying the other "touristy" spots in the area for the same amount of money but with mediocre food and service, this place was a real find.

Everything you could ask for in a moderately priced restaurant. They brew their own beer (try the Berry White) and the fried green tomatoes are outta this universe. Family friendly and service is excellent.

We will be back. The only thing we would say is everything was a little over breaded. The s'mores were great but really blistering hot. My hubby loved the Brown Ale! We always love you have priced wine night.

Ate there last weekend while visiting LItchfield Beach. Service was average. Had to ask for water refills. Food was very good. I had mussels with marinara sauce which was an appetizer but had many mussels. Enough for dinner. Wife had the fish and chips that could have had a little more fish but it was good. Nice place to bring the family. Prices not bad. Will go again when in the area.

We decided to eat here one night, and it was certainly a good choice. I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken itself was incredibly good, nice and juicy, beautiful breading, and very tasty. It's good just by itself. The waffles were nice and fluffy, and the gravy was also very good. It's an extremely filling meal, and I wasn't able to finish it even though I stuffed myself (and I usually don't, but it was too good). So if you have two people that have a smaller stomach like me, you may want to split it. Whatever the case, it was delicious, and I recommend checking this place out.

Great food, decent beer. All the dishes were tasty. The fries with two gravies are something special. The beers were very good at the price point, but not outstanding in my opinion. We will be back!

Great happy hour and kid menu. Kids enjoyed pond in back. Tons of turtles and a couple of gators.

Great atmosphere and average beers. The crab cakes were awesome. The shrimp and grits were overpowering with the andouille sausage in it. The peach wheat beer was pretty good and the nut brown ale was so so, as was the IPA. The waitress didn't know anything about the styles of beer which I thought she should have since that was the focal point of the place but she didn't know what style of IPA it was, American or English, which it was an English style. This isn't the place to go if you're really into beer but it is cool that they brew a few pretty decent beers on the premises and the food is pretty good.

Fried green tomatoes were legendary, chili was amazing, blacked mahi tacos were delicious. Waitress Ann was super accomadating, had great suggestions and the atmosphere was appealing. Even the coffee was great. What a great find and all on a Monday! Normally Mondays bring dissapointment - not at Quigley's. We will definitely be coming back! This place really made our day. It is insanely windy and we needed a respite. Quigley's was well rated by others on Yelp which brought us in today. Ann, the food and great atmosphere will bring us back the next time!

This is my favorite restaurant in Pawleys Island. The atmosphere is great, the owners and staff are extremely pleasant, the generously portioned food is always delicious, and the craft beers brewed onsite are delicious and inexpensive (I especially enjoy the Swamp Fox IPA). Both indoor and outdoor seating are attractive, but the outdoor setting is especially lovely. The dining areas are comfortable and fun, and this is a great place for kids. The bar area is spacious and lively. I eat at Quigleys every time I visit the area, which is often.

My favorite place to eat in Pawleys. Fried Green Tomatoes and shrimp app is my favorite but I can't say I have ordered anything I don't like. And I love their beers. Amazing!

Fantastic food at a reasonable price, paired with awesome service. You can't ask for more. Our three kids enjoyed the two mains that they shared (Shepherd' s pie & Carbonara) and we thoroughly enjoyed the Scallops and Surf & Turf. Without a doubt the best meal we've had in this area in the 4 years we've been vacationing here. Their Draft beer is pretty damn good too! If the owners are reading this, Rachel is worth her weight in gold. Super busy all night but always delivering great service with a smile.

DELICIOUS food; creative and meaningful portions. Prices reasonable/well worth it, good service. We TRULY enjoyed our meals. Our whole family was so impressed! Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you, this is a fabulous restaurant with amazing chefs who know what they are doing!

We have lived here for over 3 years. Quigleys is by far my family's favorite place to go in Pawleys. Fried Chicken dinner is the best deal in town. All the beer is awesome. Never had anything there that wasn't delicious.

Okay, WOW! I wasn't expecting much being outside of a major city, but it was absolutely scrumptious and the staff was very nice. It only got four out of five due to atmosphere. It's kind of a typical bar-like setting and the outdoor dining is lacking in terms of connecting to the surroundings. The first time was for brunch and I had sweet potato waffles with fried chicken covered in heavenly gravy and a biscuit with eggnog butter (it was Christmas and sounds weird but it was surprisingly yummy). The second time I had seared tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes and greens. Best tuna I have had in ages and this is coming from a New Englander that eats seafood all the time. Highly recommended!

Wonderful! So good, we ate here twice during our weeklong visit. The black-eyed pea hummus is a great appetizer. Also, check out the seared scallops and the fish & chips. If we lived nearby, this would be a regular spot for us.

Had dinner at this place while on vacation. YUMMY food and GREAT beer. Crab dip appetizer was delicious. I was expecting a hot dip, so when I saw it was cold I was a little hesitant...but the dip was filled with crab and it was great! Boyfriend ordered the blackened Mahi Mahi tacos....delicious! Never had fish tacos before, but these were great. Light fish taste, and delicious veggies / salsa in the taco. He also got the sweet potato fries which were AMAZING! I ordered an equally delicious dish...the fried chicken breast over a sweet potato waffle with gravy. Again...this dish was AMAZING!! Very filling meal, but the sweet potato waffle went perfect with the perfectly fried chicken. Had dinner during happy hour, so we gladly ordered a few rounds of beers ($2...can't beat it!). Tried the Peach beer, white ale, and lager...all good. Peach beer was definitely my favorite. We wanted to try the Red but the keg was just kicked. Wish I didn't have to drive 8 hours to go back to this restaurant. If it was closer, I'd be a regular. I will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

Decent place outside of Pawley's for food and beer - they brew their own beer, and it's pretty good stuff. Definitely family appropriate with dishes ranging from vegetarian to seafood to pork/steak/chicken - my wife really enjoyed her pork chop, and my shrimp and grits were very good. My only complaint about the food was that the grits were a bit on the soupy side, which required my to ask for a soup spoon to eat them. The biscuits and butter are not to miss, really tasty and maybe my favorite thing that evening. Nice ambiance with outdoor seating overlooking a man made pond around which several business are situated...there was at one point a gator living in the pond, hence the signs about feeding it, but evidently it's gone now. 3.5 stars, will have to go back and try some more of their beers and food next time - check it out.

This place covers so many of my bar/restaurant preferences, I don't know where to start. Brew their own beer, rotating seasonals in and out, depending on what the brew master comes up with. Outdoor seating with heat lamps and a large HD TV. And the food ranges from nachos to seared scallops in a crawfish cream sauce, awesome! I generally find that people who enjoy brewing beer also enjoy food/cooking, and often that is evident in their menu. Quigley's fits that description. Everything on their menu, no matter how much it seems like your "typical bar food" is just better than that. The soft pretzels, the fried pickles, the shrimp and grits...all delicious! On top of all of that, the wait staff are super friendly, the restaurant is casual but nice, and our kids have a blast here.

We are regular vacationers in Pawley's Island and were excited on our most recent trip to discover Quigley's while biking around the area! Our meal was awesome! Not to mention we arrived during their Oktoberfest family festival which only added to the great atmosphere! I noticed Chicken and waffles on their menu and had never tried this southern/soul food staple. Extra special at Quigley's - the waffle was a sweet potato waffle! The meal was delicious...Oktoberfest beer was tasty! We will be back! Check this place out!

This is a great brewery pub In the Litchfield Beach area - we came here hungry and left happy, which is a pretty good endorsement, I'd say. It's nice and airy inside, with the standard brew pub touches (wood beams, views of fermentation tanks, chalkboards with the brews available). Overall a nice place to have a pint and some food. My only demerit was that I missed the availability of their brown ale by a day; had to settle for a stout instead. After our group was seated, we were given some warm biscuits served with some chocolate chip butter. Chocolate chip butter. What a great idea. We then shared the black eye pea hummus and fried green tomatoes. The hummus was good, lemony, which is how I like it. The fgt were good as well, but I like mine a little more "classic" - these had a thai chilies and fried shrimp treatment which, while still good, seemed to be trying too hard to me (I'm being admittedly picky). Ahh, but then my fried chicken and sweet potato waffles came out. Yum. The only change I would have made would have been dark meat instead of breast for the chicken (if you're already smothered in gravy, why not go all the way and get the awesome fattiness that is dark meat). If I'm ever in the area again, this would be the first place I'd go to eat.

Stopped by for lunch. Ordered 6 beer samples from their own brews (2 of us sampling) - was not disappointed, favorite was the White Ale. Delicious food - London Broil sandwich w/ sweet potato fries & Chicken w/ sweet potato waffle & gravy - waiter was personable but not overly friendly (just right). Clean restrooms. We'd be regulars here if we were from here. Didn't notice any smoke from the bar area. Ate in doors as it was alittle cool. Stop by u won't regret it.

Been many times and never disappointed. Tried everything from fried pickles and burgers to their entrees. Love the chicken and sweet potato waffles as well as the jumbo scallop salad! A must try if you're visiting Pawleys!

Quigley's is a can't miss each year for us. Visited a few weeks ago while in Pawleys Island on a golf trip. Once again, exceeded my expectations! I had the primavera and the portion was large ( more than I could eat) and the flavor was outstanding! We ate in the bar area and the service was great. Be aware that they do allow smoking in the bar but if you choose to sit there, you can't complain about it. It was fine for us as no one was smoking. Yea! If you want great food, great service, in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place to be.
